Eastwood Riparian: community day at the Creekmere Greenbelt – June 16 Sat
Do you enjoy the beauty as you drive down Creekmere? Is walking or biking the greenbelt a part of your routine? Do you patronize Playground Park?
Then you need to be a part of Eastwood Riparian!
- Date: Saturday, 16 June
- Time: 9 to 11 am
- Meet at: Playground Park (Lippitt/Sylvania at Sinclair)
Message from Michael Parkey: We have several tasks to accomplish. Access to Bison Beach needs some work prior to the Creek Crawl on 24 June. (I hope you can make it to that event.) The trail needs to be mowed, and there is always invasive brush that needs to be controlled.
We will be working in areas with poison ivy, so please wear protective clothing. Bring your favorite pruning tools. I will have water available—it’s going to be hot! As we work, please be careful in the heat and take a break if you need it.
