Independence Day Parade Was So Much Fun!

A wonderful look back at the Eastwood parade and picnic on July 4th. We had a record crowd of around 100 people and lots of dogs. A police car, firetruck, and a tractor, plus bikes, kids’ cars, an adult trike, and even a rolling toy lawnmower bubbleblower. Our neighborhood is so creative!

We are grateful to the Dallas Fire Department for bringing their firetruck to the parade.
The Dallas Police Department was so friendly and fun.

We decided to shorten the parade route, partly due to heat but also to make it easier on the littles.

The iced coffee made some people very happy!
The parade worked up everyone’s appetite. Grillmaster David Cunningham and Greg Jacobs were on hand to help.
