Easter Egg Hunt

April 9 — 2 to 4 pm
Sunday week before Easter
Playground Park (Lippit/Sylvania at Sinclair)
Family fun day at the park with a variety of activities.

• 2 pm Socializing and photo opportunity under the Arch of Garlands
• 3 pm Easter Egg Hunt with games and activities for children and their families

 

Wildflower Walk

April 23 — 1 to 2 pm
Meet at Playground Park (Lippit/Sylvania at Sinclair)
Get to know the wildflowers of the Creekmere Meadow and Entry Garden

Creek Crawl

June 25 — 1 to 2 pm
Meet at Playground Park (Lippit/Sylvania at Sinclair)
We put on our old sneakers or sandals and wade Dixon Branch. The stretch from Eastwood Beach upstream to Easton has a rocky bottom and is especially pretty. It even has seeps!

 

Independence Day Parade & Picnic

July 4 — 9 to 11 am
Meet at Playground Park (Lippit/Sylvania at Sinclair)
Parade followed by picnic with costume contests and children’s activities.
 

Neighborhood Night Out

October 3 — 6 to 8 pm
1st Tuesday in October
Hosted at various Eastwood front yards
Enjoy a fall evening with your neighbors, police and our VIP crime-prevention volunteers.

December 17 — 2 to 3 pm
Join with neighbors who like to sing and bring the joys of the season to homebound neighbors.

 

Eastwood Board of Directors

Eastwood Neighborhood Association board of directors now meets on the last Monday of the month at Central Lutheran Church. If you’d like to address the board on a neighborhood matter, please contact the current president through our board of directors page.
