Miriam Morales of New Song Music Academy
A graduate of Dallas’s Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, where she studied classical and jazz piano, Miriam has been performing on the keyboards for over 25 years. A piano teacher for over a decade, she was inducted into Steinway & Sons Teacher Hall of Fame in 2023.
Come hear how she went from teaching piano from her home on Peavy to being executive director of a full-fledged music school that’s served over 300 students. She’s now a teacher of voice and a variety of instruments. Learn about the emotional satisfaction she gets from performing for church services and weddings, and writing worship songs.
