Great events coming up this summer, including the Creek Crawl down Dixon Branch creek from the Eastwood Beach upstream to Easton and the Independence Day Parade & Picnic starting at Playground Park.

Creek Crawl 

Michael Parkey, our Riparian Committee chair, leads a walk down Dixon Branch creek from the Eastwood Beach upstream to Easton. Be willing to get wet, because wet rocks are slippery. If weather’s bad, we’ll walk the following week.

Independence Day Parade & Picnic

meet at Playground Park (Lippit/Sylvania at Sinclair)

Wear your most patriotic July 4^th finery. Deck out your dog, bicycle, tricycle, or wagon. We’ll walk proudly up Sylvania, down Vinemont and back up Creekmere, accompanied by our brave police and fire first responders. Afterwards, enjoy a cold watermelon and snacks at the park.
