Halloween in Eastwood

October 5, 2016 ENA

Be a part of Eastwood’s first Halloween event!

A trick-or-treat route for our neighborhood

Monday, October 31

5:45 pm – Gather at Playground Park (Lippitt & Sylvania)

~ Please park your cars on Sinclair ~

Eastwood’s 4th of July Parade is so much fun, and the people along Sylvania, Vinemont, and Creekmere are so sweet about it, we’d like to keep that community energy going with a Halloween group trick-or-treat. Other neighborhood associations have enjoyed a great time with it.

We’ll trick-or-treat as a group from Playground Park up Sylvania to Vinemont, take a right down to Creekmere and return to Playground Park. We can split up and walk both sides of the street. Or you are welcome to walk the route at any time.

Be ready to receive trick-or-treaters from 6 to 8 pm. For the most fun, station yourself outside the house. Be sure to leave the porch light on.

If you would like distribute treats and are not on the route, please bring a chair, your candy bowl and join a neighbor.

Neighbors on the route will get a flier on Friday before Halloween as a reminder. If you have any questions, please email Chris and Jennifer Goers at chrisjengoers@gmail.com or text Jennifer at 214-668-7896.

After the trick-or-treating there will be hangout time in the park. Bring your own refreshments for your family and maybe some to share. It will be daylight until about 7 pm that evening (sunset is at 6:37 pm).
