Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 24
Grab your basket and join the fun at the Spring Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 24 from 2 to 4 pm at the Dixon Branch Greenbelt Park aka Playground Park at Lippitt/ Sylvania and Sinclair.
Come for the Easter egg hunts, first for toddlers to 5 and then for kids 6 and up. For adults, we’ll once again have the golden eggs hidden higher up containing gift cards from area businesses.
After the hunt, enjoy socializing and activities:
- Fruit juice and refreshments, including mini cakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes and iced coffee from El Porton.
- Skeeball, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, hula hoops, and other games for kids.
- Watch the cotton candy spin and enjoy some tasty treats.
- Balloon animal artist.
- Face-painting artist.
Sure to be a great time for kids of all ages! Dogs on leashes welcome! Come get to know your Eastwood neighbors! Don’t forget your basket!
Reach out to our events chair, Lauren Fasbender Yates, to help.
- Make a spring party playlist.
- Be the Easter bunny
- Take photos.

Thanks to John Walls’ publicity wizardry, our 2023 event was featured on the front page of the White Rock Lake Weekly and the digital edition of Lake Highlands Advocate. We’re so glad our generous donators received additional coverage.
