Eastwood’s new website, membership and newsletter system is up and running!
As a reminder: our old combined system, Wild Apricot, raised it’s price to about $1500.00 per year. Plus, we paid plenty in fees to their online bank, credit card companies, and PayPal. We just can’t afford that!
ENA is working very hard to rebuild our membership, website and newsletter system from the ground up.
It will be a greatly improved system and much less expensive!
At the last Eastwood Neighborhood Association meeting, Abidur Khan, P.E., project manager for Dallas Stormwater Project Management, and Andrew Schimenti from Halff Associates, Inc., presented on the most recent Dixon Branch flooding research referred to as Vinemont Channel Diversion. Their focus was on the large 100-year flood plain area, while Eastwood also incurs localized flash flooding in the western regions near Peavy.

Members of Eastwood Riparian gathered to work on Saturday in the Dixon Branch Greenbelt. Their hot and sweaty efforts tripled the size of World Famous Eastwood Bluebonnet Patch. On hand were Van Jewell, Amy Martin, Michael Parkey, Francis Shaner, and Scooter Smith. The seeds used were gathered from greenbelt plants…
