Eastwood 4th of July Parade & Picnic
Eastwood Neighborhood 4th of July Parade & Picnic
Saturday, July 4th at 9am Dixon Branch Greenbelt Park (10305 Lippitt Ave at Sinclair)
Get ready to celebrate Independence Day with neighbors, friends, and plenty of red, white, and blue spirit. Our annual Eastwood 4th of July Parade & Picnic will take place on Saturday, July 4th, with the parade kicking off promptly at 9:00 AM. Parade participants should gather at Dixon Branch Greenbelt Park (10305 Lippitt, at Sylvania and Sinclair) prior to the start time so we can get organized and begin on schedule. Decorate your bikes, scooters, wagons, and strollers, and come join the fun. Whether you walk, ride, or cheer from the sidelines, it’s a great way to start the holiday together as a community. The parade route goes up Sylvania, right on Vinemont, Right on Overglen, right on Creekmere, and back to the park. Look for the flags. After the parade, stick around for our neighborhood picnic celebration. We’ll have hot dogs and a water bounce house for kids, making it a perfect way to cool off and keep the fun going. Bring a chair or blanket, relax, and enjoy time with neighbors.
